Slovakia’s consumer confidence indicator fell to -22.8 in October 2025 from -22.3 in the previous month.
The decline was mainly driven by a more pessimistic outlook on household finances (-10.8 vs -10.1) and heightened concerns about unemployment (27.1 vs 23.6).
At the same time, sentiment regarding the country’s overall economic situation continued to deteriorate (-39 vs -38.1).
Meanwhile, consumers’ attitude toward savings in households strengthened (-14.3 vs -17.2).
