Romania Current Account Deficit Widens in November

Romania's current account deficit widened to EUR 2.687 billion in November 2024 from EUR 1.713 billion in the corresponding month of the previous year.
The goods and services gap increased to EUR 1.839 billion from EUR 1.295 billion a year earlier, and the primary income shortfall went up to EUR 0.846 billion from EUR 0.540 billion.
Moreover, the secondary income account recorded a small deficit, switching from a EUR 0.121 billion deficit a year earlier.
