Poland’s annual inflation rate was revised slightly upward to 4.3% in April 2025 from an initial estimate of 4.2%, compared to 4.9% in the previous month.
Still, this marked the lowest inflation reading since August 2024, largely due to softer price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.3% vs 6.7% in March), housing and utilities (10.8% vs 10.9%), recreation and culture (3.6% vs 3.9%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.2% vs 2.4%).
Additionally, costs continued to fall for transport (-5.6% vs -3.6%) and clothing and footwear (-1.7% vs -1.3%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.4% in April, confirming preliminary estimates, following a 0.2% increase in March.
