Poland Inflation Rate Rises, Still Below Forecasts

Poland’s annual inflation rate rose to 4.9% in March 2025, from a downwardly revised 4.7% in February but below market forecasts of 5.1%, preliminary estimates showed.
Upward pressure came primarily from prices of housing & utilities (13.3%) and food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.1% in March, compared to a revised flat reading in February and below market estimates of a 0.3% increase.
