Macau Tourist Arrivals Up 12.8% in March

The number of tourist arrivals in Macau rose by 12.8% year-on-year to 3.07 million in March 2025, after a 4.4% drop in the previous month.
Same-day visitors surged by 23.3%, while overnight visitors edged up by 0.9%.
The average length of stay of visitors shortened by 0.1 day from a year earlier to 1.1 days, with the duration of stay for both same-day visitors (0.2 day) and overnight visitors (2.3 days) remaining unchanged.
For the first quarter of the year, the number of visitor arrivals grew by 11.1% year-on-year to 9.86 million.
During this period, visitors from Mainland China increased by 14.5% to 7.21 million, with those traveling under the Individual Visit Scheme rising by 15.6%.
Additionally, visitors from Taiwan climbed by 21.6% to 221.15 thousand, while those from Hong Kong fell by 3.6% to 1.75 million.
