Macau Inflation Hits Fastest Rate Since August 2024

The annual inflation rate in Macau rose to 0.72% in November 2025, marking the fastest pace since August 2024 and up from 0.6% in October.
This is the fourth consecutive month of acceleration, driven by faster growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.25% vs 0.70%), recreation, sport, and culture (3.08% vs 2.35%), household furnishings and services (0.58% vs 0.52%), and miscellaneous goods and services (1.97% vs 1.92%), while declines eased in information and communication (-2.31% vs -2.57%).
Conversely, growth slowed in transport (0.46% vs 0.59%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (1.69% vs 2.48%), and housing & fuels (0.17% vs 0.33%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.11% in November, following a 0.03% increase in October.
