Producer prices in Lithuania rose 12.8% year-on-year in May 2026, slowing from a downwardly revised over three-year high of 13.1% in the previous month.
This marked the third consecutive month of producer price increases, albeit at a softer pace.
Price growth moderated in manufacturing (13.2% vs 13.7% in April), particularly in coke and refined petroleum products, which eased to 73.2% after a 77.0% surge.
Additionally, inflation slowed in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (3.3% vs 5.1%).
Meanwhile, prices accelerated in mining and quarrying (5.5% vs 0.9%) and electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (8.0% vs 4.1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.8%, reversing a 2.5% increase in the previous period.
