Estonia Inflation Rate Edges Up in April

The annual inflation rate in Estonia edged higher to 4.5% in April 2025 from 4.4% in the previous month.
Prices accelerated mainly for food and non-alcoholic beverages (7.4% vs 6.7% in March), alcohol and tobacco (3.4% vs 2.3%), health (11% vs 3%), and recreation, and entertainment (4.6% vs 4%).
On the other hand, inflation moderated for household goods (1.8% vs 2.8%), transport (5% vs 6.3%), education (2.5% vs 6.9%), while costs declined further for clothing and footwear (-4.5% vs -3.4%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 1% in April, rebounding from a 0.5% drop in the preceding period.
