Estonia Inflation Rate Highest Since 2023

The annual inflation rate in Estonia rose to 5.3% in February 2025 from 3.9% in the previous two months.
This marked the highest reading since July 2023, as prices increased faster for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.1% vs 4.2% in January) and recreation and culture (3.5% vs 2.7%).
At the same time, costs rebounded sharply for housing and utilities (8% vs -1.1%).
Meanwhile, inflation slowed for alcohol and tobacco (2.3% vs 4.8%), transport (8% vs 9.6%), and education (7.2% vs 7.4%).
Moreover, prices declined for clothing and footwear (-1.3% vs 0.3%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced by 1.4% in February, the same pace as in the preceding period.
