Danish Trade Surplus Widens in April

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus widened to DKK 32.8 billion in April 2026 from a downwardly revised DKK 31.4 billion in March.
Exports edged up 0.4% month-over-month to DKK 188.9 billion, led by a 3.3% rise in services exports more than offset a 1.5% decline in goods exports.
Meanwhile, imports fell 0.4% to DKK 156.1 billion, reflecting a 1.7% drop in goods imports despite a 1.0% rise in services imports.
For the first four months of 2026, Denmark recorded a trade surplus of DKK 114.9 billion, up from DKK 100.1 billion over the same period in the previous year.
