Danish Trade Surplus Narrows in January

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus narrowed to DKK 31.2 billion in January 2026 from a downwardly revised DKK 35.2 billion in the previous month.
Exports fell 5.9% month-on-month to DKK 176.8 billion, due to declines in both goods (-6.5%) and services (-5.0%) exports.
Imports dropped 4.7% to DKK 145.6 billion, reflecting lower imports of goods (-2.9%) and services (-6.7%).
Over the past three months, total exports rose 0.9%, while imports decreased 0.5%.
