Croatia Industrial Output Rebounds in February

Industrial production in Croatia rose by 1.2% year-on-year in February 2026, rebounding from a 0.8% decline in the previous month.
Production increased for capital goods (7% vs -4.2% in January), intermediate goods (2.8% vs 0.4%), and consumer non-durables (2.1% vs -1.1%), while it declined for consumer durables (-9.3% vs -2.9%) and energy (-4.3% vs 5.6%).
According to divisions, output in the manufacturing sector recovered, up 1.3% after a 0.8% drop in January, primarily driven by sharply higher production of transport equipment (99.2% vs -3.6%), tobacco products (90.8% vs -34.9%), electrical equipment (26% vs 17.3%), and chemicals products (24.3% vs 95.6%).
At the same time, activity decreased at a softer pace in mining and quarrying (-4.2% vs -13.7%), while output continued to increase for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (7.1% vs 11.1%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity fell by 0.8% in February, following a 2.4% drop in the preceding period.
