Argentina Consumer Confidence Improves in September

Argentina’s Consumer Confidence Index (ICC) rose 2.37% month over month to 41.8 points in September 2026, following a 1.08% decline in August.
Future Expectations increased 3.80%, while Current Conditions rose 0.33%.
By subindex, Personal Situation increased 11.33% in September, while the other components declined.
The largest decrease was recorded in Durable Goods and Real Estate (-3.42%), followed by Macroeconomic Situation (-0.75%).
By region, the ICC increased in Greater Buenos Aires and the rest of the country, while declining in the City of Buenos Aires.
The largest increase was recorded in the Interior (+5.23%), followed by GBA (+3.33%), while CABA posted a 6.78% decline.
By income level, results were mixed: low-income households recorded a 12.33% increase, while high-income households posted a 4.07% decline.
Year-on-year, the index rose 3.44%.
