Swiss Investors Optimism Falls in February

The Swiss investors’ sentiment index fell by 14.3 points from the previous month to 3.4 in February of 2025, pointing to a sharp decline in the level of optimism for Swiss market players.

Still, the indicator remained in the positive territory for a second month after ending 2024 with five consecutive declines.

The drop reflected higher concern from investors to volatility in financial markets triggered by persistent tariff threats from US President Donald Trump.

In the meantime, the current conditions index was at 0, compared to the -2.9 from the previous month.
