Slovenia Producer Inflation Slows in February

Slovenia’s producer inflation rose to 1.5% year-on-year in February 2026, easing from 1.9% in the previous month.
Price growth slowed in the manufacturing sector (1.2% vs 2% in January), particularly in food products (2.8% vs 4.5%), beverages (3.4% vs 4.5%), textiles (2.4% vs 2.6%), basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (0.1% vs 5.8%), and electrical equipment (1.4% vs 1.7%).
At the same time, costs declined for water supply (-3.5% vs 5%).
In contrast, prices rebounded sharply for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (7.8% vs -2.6%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices recorded a flat reading, following a 0.4% increase in the preceding period.
