Slovenia’s economy grew by 0.7% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025, rebounding from a downwardly revised 0.6% fall in the previous three-month period.
This was mainly due to the rise in household consumption (3.6% vs 0.4% in Q1) and the softer contraction of fixed investments (-0.2% vs -5.6%).
Meanwhile, government spending (-0.5% vs 2.3%) declined.
Additionally, net trade contributed negatively to the GDP, as exports fell (-0.8 vs 0.8%), while imports grew at a softer pace (2.7% vs 3.8%).
On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the economy rose by 0.7%, rebounding from a downwardly revised 0.7% fall in the previous quarter.
