Serbia Current Account Deficit Narrows in March

Serbia’s current account deficit narrowed to $411 million in March 2026 from a revised $548 million in the corresponding month a year earlier.
The goods account gap shrank to $642 million from $753 million in March 2025, while the services account surplus widened to $240 million from $136 million.
The secondary income surplus also increased to $707 million from $414 million.
In contrast, the primary income deficit widened sharply to $715 million from $345 million.
In the first three months of 2026, Serbia posted a current account deficit of $209 million, narrowing from $690 million in the corresponding period last year.
