Romania Producer Inflation Eases in November

Annual producer inflation in Romania rose 4.78% year-on-year in November 2025, easing from a downwardly revised over two-year high of 7.90% in the previous month.
Price growth moderated sharply for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (6.66% vs 20.54% in October), mining and quarrying (0.83% vs 3.41%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (11.32% vs 11.48%).
Meanwhile, prices for manufacturing continued to increase (4.07% vs 3.62%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices grew 0.30% in November from 0.99% in the preceding period.
