Romania Q4 GDP Growth Weakest Since 2021

Romania’s GDP grew by 0.1% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, sharply easing from a one-year high of 1.7% gain in the previous three-month period, preliminary estimates showed.
While this marked the nineteenth consecutive quarter of economic expansion, it represented the weakest pace of growth since the third quarter of 2021.
On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the country’s GDP contracted by 1.9%, slipping further from a 0.2% drop in the previous three-month period.
