Singapore Forex Reserves at 22-Month High

Foreign exchange reserves in Singapore increased to SGD 480.5 billion in February 2024 from SGD 478.2 billion in the previous month.
This marks the largest amount since April 2022, driven by an increase in gold & foreign exchange (SGD 470.2 billion vs SGD 467.9 billion in January).
Meanwhile, IMF reserve position remains relatively unchanged (SGD 1.96 billion vs SGD 1.95 billion) and SDR (SGD 8.30 billion vs SGD 8.26 billion).
In February 2024 the reserves stood at SGD 357.3 billion.
