Poland Corporate Wage Growth Slows to 8.4%

Poland’s corporate sector wages rose by 8.4% year-on-year to PLN 8670.51 in May 2025, easing from a 9.3% climb in the previous month and coming in below market expectations of an 8.8% rise.

Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary decreased by 4.1%, mainly due to fewer additional payo uts such as bonuses, quarterly and annual premiums, jubilee awards, and retirement severance payments.

On a year-to-date basis, wages rose by 8.7% compared to the same period last year.
