Norway Manufacturing Growth at 4-Month High

Norway’s DNB Manufacturing PMI rose to 51.9 in February 2025, up 0.6 points from 51.3 in January, marking the highest level in four months.
The production index rose by 0.6 points to 52.4, while new orders edged up slightly by 0.1 points to 50.5.
Export orders improved significantly, climbing 3.5 points to 52.1, whereas home market orders declined by 2.8 points to 48.5.
The employment index also rose by 0.5 points to 53.2, reflecting continued hiring activity.
Suppliers’ delivery times lengthened, with the sub-index rising by 1.4 points to 52.5, indicating higher activity levels.
Meanwhile, inventory levels fell by 1.4 points to 48.6, a trend typically associated with increased production.
On the cost side, the input price index surged by 4.2 points to 66.2, surpassing its long-term average and signaling stronger inflationary pressures.
