Norway House Price Growth Slows in March

House prices in Norway increased by 0.1% month-on-month in March 2025, easing from a 0.8% gain in the previous month.
This marked the softest growth in house prices since a decline in July 2024.
The average price for a home in Norway was NOK 4,890,513 at the end of March.
Among regions, the strongest price development was recorded in Porsgrunn/Skien (1.7%) while the weakest one was seen in Asker/Bærum and Kristiansand (-0.9%).
The average time to sell a home was 50 days in March, down from 65 days in the prior month.
Bergen had the shortest selling period at 16 days, whereas Sarpsborg/Fredrikstad recorded the longest at 85 days.
On a yearly basis, house prices rose by 7.0%.
