Moldova Industrial Output Slows in November

Industrial production in Moldova rose by 11.6% year-on-year in November 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 12.1% increase in the previous month.
This marked the ninth consecutive month of growth, albeit at a softer pace, as output declined sharply in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-9.8% vs 37% in October).
On the other hand, production advanced in the manufacturing industry (19.4% vs 10.1%), particularly in food products (57.4% vs 32.8%), dairy products (5.5% vs -2.2%), animal feed preparations (47.7% vs 20.3%), and beverages (53% vs -25.4%) Output also fell softer in mining and quarrying (-2.4% vs -20.7%).
On a monthly basis, industrial output increased by 8% in November, slowing from an upwardly revised 18.9% in the preceding month.
