Macau’s economy grew by 0.1% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2026, easing from 0.3% in the previous quarter, according to preliminary estimates.
The latest figure marked the weakest growth since the first quarter of 2025, as exports of gaming services fell by 4.8%, reflecting short-term adjustments in gross gaming revenue due to external environmental factors.
Meanwhile, exports of other tourism services rose by 6.6%, lifted by an increase in visitor arrivals.
On the domestic front, gross fixed capital formation jumped 17.2%, supported by accelerated progress in public and private construction projects.
