Lithuania Producer Prices Rise Most Since Early 2023

Producer prices in Lithuania jumped by 17.5% year-on-year in September 2026 from a three-year high of 13.6% in the previous month.

This marked the highest reading since January 2023, costs increased in manufacturing (13.7% vs 17.3% in August), driven largely by stronger gains in the production of coke and refined petroleum products (83.9% vs 67.1%).

Moreover, price growth picked up in mining and quarrying (6.0% vs 3.8%), electricity, gas, steam, air-conditioning supply (17.9% vs 11.2%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (7.0% vs 5.3%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices grew by 3.5%, following a 1.2% increase in the preceding period.

This marked the highest reading since February 2023, as price growth picked up in manufacturing (13.6% vs 11.3% in July), lifted by stronger gains in the production of coke and refined petroleum products (66.6% vs 52.1%). Moreover, costs increased in mining and quarrying (3.8% vs 3.5%). Meanwhile, inflation moderated in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (10.9% vs 16.3%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (5.3% vs 5.8%). On a monthly basis, producer prices grew by 1.2% in August, easing from a revised three-month high of 2.3% in the preceding period.

Lithuania Producer Inflation Picks Up in July
Producer prices in Lithuania increased 11.5% year-on-year in July 2026, accelerating from 9.6% in the previous month and marking the fifth consecutive annual increase. Price growth picked up in manufacturing (11.0% vs 8.9% in June), mainly driven by a faster increase in coke and refined petroleum products (50.1% vs. 41.0%). Inflation also accelerated for mining and quarrying (3.5% vs 2.1%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (5.8% vs 4.1%). Meanwhile, price growth eased slightly for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (16.6% vs 16.9%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 2.1% in July, rebounding from a revised 2.5% decline in June.
