Lithuania Producer Prices Drop Most in Eight Months

Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 3% year-on-year in December 2025, following a downwardly revised 0.8% drop in the previous month.
This marked the twelfth consecutive month of producer deflation and the sharpest contraction in eight months, as costs decreased for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.7% vs 4.1% in November).
Additionally, prices declined further for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning (-0.7% vs -0.5%) and manufacturing (-3.4% vs -0.9%), particularly in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (-15.3% vs -4.1%).
Meanwhile, costs increased for mining and quarrying (1.7% vs 1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped by 1.8% in December from an upwardly revised 0.6% growth in the preceding period.
