Lithuania Producer Prices Decline at a Slower Pace

Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 2.8% year-on-year in February 2026, easing from a downwardly revised 3.7% drop in the previous month.
Deflation slowed in the manufacturing sector (-3.7% vs -4.4% in January), particularly in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (-16% vs -20.4%).
At the same time, activity increased in both electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (8.4% vs 2.7%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (4.8% vs 3.4%).
Meanwhile, production declined sharply in mining and quarrying (-3.6% vs 1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 1.3% in February, following an upwardly revised 0.6% growth in the preceding period.
