Industrial production in Lithuania surged 9.8% year-on-year in June 2026, rebounding sharply from a revised 1.1% fall in the previous month.
This marked the fastest pace of growth since July 2024, driven by renewed expansion in manufacturing output excluding refined petroleum products (11.5% vs -0.7% in May) and a sharp increase in mining and quarrying activity (9.1% vs 1.6%).
The pace of decline also eased in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (-3.1% vs -7.4%) as well as in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services (-8.6% vs -13.5%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose 2.1%, recovering from a revised 2.2% drop in May.
