Lithuania Industrial Output Rises for 4th Month

Lithuania’s industrial production rose by 3.6% year-on-year in December 2025, following a downwardly revised 2.1% growth in the previous month.
This marked the fourth consecutive month of growth in industrial activity as output increased in the manufacturing sector (3.6% vs 2.2% in November).
At the same time, production recovered in mining and quarrying (5.7% vs -1.9%), while it contracted softer for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services (-10.6% vs -10.8%).
On the other hand, output declined sharply for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-12.2% vs -3.4%).
On a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 0.3% in November, following a downwardly revised 2.3% gain in the preceding period.
