Lithuania’s current account posted a surplus of EUR 88 million in July 2026, shifting from a deficit of EUR 324.8 million in the corresponding month a year earlier.
The services account surplus increased to EUR 1,097.8 million from EUR 806.5 million in July 2025, while the secondary income account surplus also rose to EUR 44.1 million from EUR 30.3 million.
At the same time, the goods account deficit narrowed to EUR 707 million from EUR 910.9 million over the same period.
In contrast, the primary income account deficit widened to EUR 347 million from EUR 250.7 million, partly offsetting the improvements in the other accounts.
