Lithuania’s current account posted a surplus of EUR 96.15 million in April 2026, shifting from a deficit of EUR 108.31 million in the same month a year earlier.
The improvement was largely driven by a wider surplus in the services account, which increased to EUR 1,033.79 million from EUR 851.23 million, while the secondary income surplus also rose to EUR 70.54 million from EUR 23.07 million.
In addition, the goods account deficit narrowed to EUR 589.45 million from EUR 605.58 million.
Meanwhile, the primary income account remained in deficit, with the shortfall widening to EUR 418.73 million from EUR 377.03 million a year earlier.
