Guatemala Exports
Guatemala's exports visibly improved since the country's entry in the Free Trade Area of the Americas in 2004. Guatemala mainly exports agricultural products including coffee and sugar (over 37 percent of total exports) textiles (over 14 percent). Other exports include: iron, steel, plastics and chemical products. Guatemala's main export partner is the United States (33 percent of exports), Honduras (10 percent), Nicaragua (6 percent). Others include: Mexico, Netherlands, Costa Rica and China.
