Ecuador Inflation Rises in June

Ecuador's annual inflation rate rose to 1.65% in June 2026 from 0.92% in the previous month.
The strongest price pressures were recorded in transport (7.8%) and healthcare (3.6%).
Prices also increased for education (1.6%), recreation and culture (1.2%), communication (0.7%), and furniture and household articles (1.0%).
Meanwhile, deflation persisted in food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.2%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (-0.9%), clothing and footwear (-4.3%), and housing and utilities (-2.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.8% after falling 0.6% in May.
