Cyprus Wage Growth Weakest Since 2021

Average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus eased by 3.7% year-on-year to EUR 2,601 in the first quarter of 2026, following a 4.4% increase in the previous quarter.
This marked the weakest wage growth since the third quarter of 2021.
Wages for men rose by 3.3% to EUR 2,776 from EUR 2,687in Q1 2025.
Meanwhile, wages for women increased by 4.2% to EUR 2,378, compared with EUR 2,282.
On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, average gross monthly earnings rose by 0.8% to EUR 2,652.
