Meanwhile, prices rose for: transport (1.7 percent vs 1.2 percent); housing and utilities (1.4 percent vs 0.7 percent); and restaurants and hotels (0.8 percent vs 0.9 percent). On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped 1.2 percent.
