Considering the first ten months of the year, the trade shortfall widened 17.9 percent to EUR 3865.8 million from EUR 3278.4 million, with imports rising 13.2 percent and exports advancing at a slower 6.6 percent.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up 0.1 percent, after rising 0.6 percent in October.
