Cyprus Wages Rise 4.2% YoY in Q2

Average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus increased by 4.3% year-on-year, reaching EUR 2,452 in the third quarter of 2025, following a 4.2% growth in the previous quarter. Wages for men rose by 3.8% to EUR 2,622, while wages for women increased by 4.9% to EUR 2,238. Compared with the previous quarter, seasonally adjusted wages rose by 0.7% to EUR 2,602.

Average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus increased by 4.2% year-on-year to EUR 2,476 in the second quarter of 2025, following a 4.9% growth in the previous quarter. Wages for men rose by 3.8% to EUR 2,656, while those for women grew by 4.7% to EUR 2,251. Compared to the previous quarter, seasonally adjusted wages increased by 0.9% to EUR 2,583.

Average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus increased by 5.4% year-on-year to EUR 2,509 in the first quarter of 2025, following a 5% rise in the previous period. Wages for female employees went up by 5.5% to EUR 2,284, while those for male employees grew by 5.2% from a year ago to EUR 2,689. Compared to the previous quarter, seasonally adjusted wages rose by 1.4%, following a 1.2% increase in the preceding period.
