Bulgaria Construction Output Growth Picks Up in June

Construction output in Bulgaria increased by 4.3% year-on-year in June 2025, following a downwardly revised 3.6% rise in the previous month, which had marked the weakest growth since September 2024.

The improvement was driven by faster growth in building construction (4.2% vs 2.8% in May) and specialized construction activities (3.6% vs 0.3%).

In contrast, growth in civil engineering works slowed sharply (5.5% vs 9.6%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction output fell by 0.2% in June, after a 1.6% decline in May.
