The current account deficit in Bosnia and Herzegovina narrowed to BAM 383.2 million in the second quarter of 2025 from BAM 410.4 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The improvement was mainly driven by the increase in the secondary income surplus to BAM 1,406.7 million from BAM 1,390.4 million in Q2 2024, as well as a shift in primary income to a surplus of BAM 82.3 million from a deficit of BAM 2 million.
On the other hand, the goods and services gap widened to BAM 1,872.2 million from BAM 1,798.9 million in the same period last year.
