Producer prices in Austria increased 1.9% year-on-year in April 2026, after a flat reading in March.

Energy costs rose 2.0%, rebounding from a 1.7% drop in the previous month and marking the first increase in nearly three years.

Prices for capital goods increased 0.4%, following a 0.2% rise, while consumer goods prices rose 0.6%, slowing from a 0.8% advance.
