Austria Industrial Output Falls in November

Industrial production in Austria fell by 0.3% year-on-year in November 2025, reversing a downwardly revised 2.3% increase in the previous month.
Output growth slowed in the industrial sector (1.2% vs 4.1% in October) and construction activity declined further (-4.9% vs -3.1%).
Within industrial groupings, production decreased for energy (-8.1% vs -1.5%) and capital goods (-2.2% vs 5.7%), while output increased at a slower pace for intermediate goods (3.5% vs 5.2%).
On the other hand, activity accelerated for consumer durables (11.4% vs 1.6%) and non-durables (6.1% vs 3.4%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production dropped by 1% in November, slipping from an upwardly revised 0.3% gain in the preceding period.
