Tunisia Inflation Rate Steady at 4.9% for 3rd Month

Tunisia's inflation rate stood at an over 4-1/2-year low of 4.9% for the third month in December 2025, unchanged from the prior month.
Prices advanced at s slower pace primarily for restaurants & hotels (6% vs 6.2% in November); recreation & culture (4.3% vs 4.4%); health (3.7% vs 3.8%); transportation (2.8% vs 2.9%); and health (0.6% vs 0.7%).
On the other hand.
prices accelerated for food & non-alcoholic beverages (6.1% vs 5.8%), while inflation remained elevated for clothing & footwear (at 9.1%) and miscellaneous goods & services (at 5.8%).
On a monthly basis, the CPI rose by 0.2% in December, after a 0.1% increase in the previous month.
