South Korea’s retail sales rose 0.5% month-over-month in June 2025, marking the first increase in four months.
The rebound was driven by higher sales of semi-durable goods like clothing (up 4.1%) and non-durable goods such as cosmetics (up 0.3%).
In contrast, sales of durable goods declined, with passenger car sales falling 1.6%.
