Lithuania Inflation Rate Steady at 4.1%

Lithuania's annual inflation rate remained steady at 4.1% in April 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its highest level since August 2023.
Prices increased at a faster pace for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.0% vs 4.5% in March), housing and utilities (4.8% vs 3.4%), recreation and culture (5.1% vs 4.4%), and furnishings, household equipment, and routine home maintenance (1.1% vs 0.8%).
Additionally, deflation eased for clothing and footwear (-0.6% vs -0.9%).
In contrast, prices slowed for transport (0.2% vs 1.6%), miscellaneous goods and services (3.1% vs 4.7%), communication (2.8% vs 3.6%), health (5.6% vs 5.0%), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (8.3% vs 8.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1%, easing from a 0.4% increase in March.
