The economy of Lithuania grew by 0.9% quarter-on-quarter in the fourth quarter of 2024, following a 1.2% gain in the previous three-month period, preliminary estimates showed.

Still, this marked the fourth consecutive period of expansion, primarily due to a positive contribution from the strong performance of enterprises engaged in industrial, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical, and administrative and support services activities.

On a yearly basis, the country's GDP advanced 3.8% in the fourth quarter of 2024, accelerating from 2.4% in the previous period.
