Lithuania’s current account surplus widened to EUR 527.71 million in October 2025 from EUR 205.10 million in the same month a year earlier, marking the largest surplus since September 2024.
The services surplus increased to EUR 956.65 million from EUR 913.83 million.
In addition, the primary income balance swung to a surplus of EUR 6.06 million from a deficit of EUR 195.38 million last year, while the secondary income balance also shifted to a surplus of EUR 74.92 million from a deficit of EUR 26.60 million.
These improvements more than offset a wider deficit in the goods account, which expanded to EUR 509.92 million from EUR 486.75 million a year ago.
