Kyrgyzstan Inflation Rate Highest Since 2023

The annual inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan rose to 11.5% in July 2026 from 11.0% in the previous month, marking the highest level since March 2023.
Prices increased across several categories, including clothing and footwear (8.0% vs 7.7%), housing and utilities (11.2% vs 9.5%), restaurants and hotels (29.2% vs 25.7%), household goods and appliances (10.9% vs 9.8%), health care (14.8% vs 11.5%), recreation and culture (14.1% vs 14.0%), and various goods and services (22.1% vs 21.8%).
Meanwhile, price growth eased for food and non-alcoholic beverages (9.1% vs 9.2%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (11.0% vs 12.1%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices accelerated to 1.1% in July from 0.7% in June, the highest since March.
