Kyrgyzstan Industrial Output Growth Rises to 6.3%

Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan rose 6.3% year-on-year in July 2026, up from 5.0% in the previous month.
Production rebounded in mining and quarrying (38.5% vs -13.8% in June), while output continued to increase in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (4.7% vs 2.3%), as well as water supply, waste treatment, and recovery of secondary raw materials (20.3% vs 19.7%).
In contrast, manufacturing growth eased sharply (0.4% vs 9.6%), weighed down by declines in wood, paper products, and printing activities (-29.2% vs 92.3%), pharmaceutical products (-75.9% vs 96.0%), and other production, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment (-13.8% vs 11.6%).
Over the January–July period, industrial output expanded 11.2%, slowing from 12.6% in the same period last year.
