Economic Activity Index MoM
The Monthly Index of Economic Activity is a real-time economic indicator produced by the Bank of Israel to track recent trends in economic growth. It synthesizes data from approximately 30 monthly economic time series using a statistical model (TETA) to estimate monthly GDP growth before official quarterly National Accounts are released. The index reflects the average estimated growth over the three most recent months and is published about two weeks after the reference month, providing timely insights into the pace of economic activity.
