Hungary Producer Prices Rebound in July

Producer prices in Hungary rose 1.0% year-on-year in July 2026, the most since March, rebounding from a 0.4% fall in the previous month.
Prices for domestic output increased at a faster rate (2.5% vs 1.8% in June), while prices for non-domestic output rebounded (0.3% vs -1.4%).
By sector, prices in mining and quarrying (-2.6% vs -3.1%) and manufacturing (-0.8% vs -2.2%) fell at a slower pace.
At the same time, price growth accelerated in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (9.7% vs 8.8%) and water collection, treatment and supply (3.5% vs 2.5%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices jumped 1.4%, following a 0.1% increase in June.
